You do not want to get there and then find out that you have no bookings for your accommodations. This can certainly ruin your vacation. You can call a week before your trip just to inquire about the status of your bookings.

If you have any medications then you must have your prescription filled before your trip. You need to take sufficient medication to last for the entire trip. There are pharmacies in Tanzania but you cannot be sure that your specific brand of medication will be available there. It is best to bring your own medication with you.
